Traina Behavioral has been a leader in increasing access to high-quality ABA therapy since 2009.

Since its inception in 2009, Traina Behavioral has been providing the highest quality of ABA therapy to individuals with an autism diagnosis and similar developmental disabilities. Traina behavioral is a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of our learners and their families.

Traina Behavioral was founded by Allison Traina, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who realized the need to create an environment focused not just on the individual but also their family. Traina Behavioral takes a team approach to therapy and believes that the family, the learner and the treatment team’s involvement in therapy is the key to a successful ABA program. We focus not just on the individual with an autism diagnosis, but also on how we can work with the whole team to create a sense of balance and harmony, by fostering an optimal therapy environment for the learner and their family. Traina Behavioral believes it is essential to create a unique and functional program for the learner that will seamlessly carry over into the family’s daily life. Traina Behavioral is a licensed Intensive Behavior Health Specialist (IBHS) provider.

Allison Traina is an innovator in increasing access to the highest quality ABA therapy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Allison began her career in child development at Lehigh University, focusing on infant studies and development. She was introduced to ABA studies early in her undergraduate career and was drawn to the evidence-based interventions that show measurable result that increase independence and the overall quality of life for the learner. Having worked in the behavioral health field for over 15 years, Allison specializes in child development with an emphasis on language acquisition, alternative communication techniques, behavior modification and social skills.

Allison is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is a Licensed Behavior Specialist by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. Allison is a member of the New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis (NJABA), a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), a member of the Verbal Behavior Special Interest Group (VB SIG) and a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).

Allison graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lehigh University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is the recipient of multiple scholarly awards. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis Concentration from Southeastern University and has studied at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School. Allison presents at conferences and provides workshops for parents and professionals.
